1. About the service

Firmlocator provides company profiles, a directory, search, public pages, a management portal, and subscription and payment tools. By using the service, you accept these terms.

2. Accounts

  • You are responsible for all actions carried out through your account.
  • You must provide accurate and up-to-date business information.
  • You must keep your access details secure.
  • You must have the right to use and publish the content that you upload or enter in the profile.

3. Permitted use and rules for business profiles

Business profiles on Firmlocator must represent genuine, lawful and non-misleading commercial activity. We may restrict or refuse publication of profiles that do not comply with these rules or require additional review.

  • False, misleading or impersonating business profiles are not permitted.
  • Profiles for illegal services, illegal goods, fraud, phishing, malware or other harmful activity are not permitted.
  • Profiles with pornographic content, sexual services or other categories that violate the directory rules are not permitted.
  • Some high-risk or regulated categories may be restricted, prohibited or published only after additional review.
  • We may request corrections, clarifications or additional information before the profile or edit becomes public.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and renewal

  • Paid plans are charged according to the selected billing period, for example monthly or annually, and unless otherwise agreed in writing, renew automatically until terminated.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe and made in euros. The prices on the website are final: we do not charge VAT because the supplier applies the small enterprises scheme under Article 168e(3) of the Bulgarian VAT Act. For a company in another EU Member State with a valid VAT number, the place of supply is in the recipient’s country and the reverse charge applies: VAT is payable by the recipient. For card payments, we issue a document under Ordinance N-18; payment documents contain the supplier’s and recipient’s details.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through the portal (the ‘Billing’ section). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period: paid features remain active until then, after which the subscription will not renew and the account will move to the Free plan. You can reactivate your subscription before the end of the period. If the current period has not been paid for (for example, because a renewal payment failed), cancellation takes effect immediately and the unpaid amount will not be collected. Payments are non-refundable — we do not refund any amount for the remaining time in the paid period, except where a consumer exercises their right of withdrawal (see below).
  • Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights, including withdrawal rights, statutory remedies, and mandatory refunds where applicable law requires them.
  • In the event of non-payment, an overdue invoice, a disputed payment, chargeback, suspected fraud or breach, we may restrict access, suspend the profile or downgrade the plan.
  • Before payment, we display the main pre-contract information about the plan, the price, the billing period, automatic renewal, termination and the applicable information on the right of withdrawal. After conclusion of the contract, we send confirmation by email or another durable medium within a reasonable time and no later than before performance begins, where applicable.
  • When you request the service to begin immediately before the expiry of an applicable withdrawal period, we may request separate express confirmation and confirmation that you understand the consequences during the payment process. This does not waive any rights that the law does not permit to be restricted.
  • If you are a consumer — a natural person entering into the contract outside your trade or profession — you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of each successful payment (initial or renewal), without giving a reason (Consumer Protection Act). The period begins on the day after payment and expires at the end of the 14th day. You can exercise this right using the ‘Withdraw now’ button in the portal or the withdrawal form. If you withdraw, the service ends immediately and we refund you for the unused full days of the paid period, calculated pro rata by day (the day of withdrawal counts as used) — using the same payment method: for card payments, usually within 5–10 working days; for bank transfers, by bank transfer within 14 days. Companies and other traders do not have a right of withdrawal.
  • If you are a consumer, you may also have mandatory statutory remedies in the event of non-supply, delay or non-conformity of the digital service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits them.

5. Profile deletion, content takedown, and termination

You may request deletion of a business profile, but this does not automatically cancel an active paid period, invoices already issued or sums due. We may refuse or delay deletion while there is an active subscription, a legal retention obligation, a legal dispute or an investigation into abuse. We may also remove, restrict or refuse content that is unlawful, misleading, infringes third-party rights or may cause harm.

6. Bank transfer

If direct bank transfer is enabled, the instructions are sent by email. Payment is identified by the payer's name and payment reference. Access is confirmed after receipt and matching of the payment.

7. Your content and rights

You retain the rights to your content, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide and limited right to host, reproduce, format, display and distribute it to the extent necessary for providing, protecting, archiving and promoting the service.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a specific ranking position, commercial success or the absence of external interruptions caused by third parties.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amounts paid for the service during the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. The courts in Sofia shall have jurisdiction, unless applicable mandatory consumer protection rules in your country require otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update the terms and will publish a new version with the current date.

12. Contact

For legal, subscription or contractual enquiries: NEVO SOFT LTD („НЕВО СОФТ“ ЕООД), UIC 208871527, 49 General Stoletov Blvd., 2nd level (floor 1), office, Serdika district, 1233 Sofia, Bulgaria; email: contact@firmlocator.com.

13. Review of company profiles and right to refuse publication

Submitted company profiles may be reviewed automatically and manually for safety, fraud, misleading content, prohibited categories and compliance with the rules of Firmlocator.

  • We may keep a profile or edit in review status before public publication.
  • We may request corrections, additional data or confirmation of the relationship with the company and the right to manage the profile before approval.
  • We may restrict, delay or refuse publication of profiles in prohibited, high-risk or misleading categories.
  • Firmlocator reserves the final discretion as to whether a profile is eligible for publication in the directory.

14. Moderation of edits and account access

Firmlocator carries out an automated review of edits to company profiles before they are published. This review may include classification with AI, content rules and review by a moderator, and supplements the general review described in section 13.

  • Edits containing hate speech, violence or incitement to violence, exploitation or sexual content, especially involving minors, instructions for hacking, fraudulent or unlawful acts, promotion of illegal substances, prohibited financial products or other high-risk content are not permitted.
  • We may refuse a specific edit without removing the existing public profile. The profile may remain active in the directory, and the edit may remain unpublished pending a moderator’s decision.
  • In the event of a serious breach, we may temporarily restrict your access to the portal. The company profiles for which you are responsible may remain visible to visitors — the restriction affects only your ability to edit them until the review is completed.
  • If you believe the restriction is not justified, you may submit a request for review via the form on the locked access page in your portal. The request is processed by a moderator and you will receive notification by email when a decision is made.
  • Records of moderation checks, including the type of breach, a brief explanation and the time of the check, are kept for up to 3 years for audit, abuse prevention and quality control purposes. These records are accessible only to the Firmlocator team and to competent authorities where expressly required by law.

15. Reports regarding a business profile in the directory

Anyone may submit a report regarding a published business profile. Submitting a report does not automatically remove or change the profile. Every report is reviewed by the editorial team, and the affected business is given a written opportunity to respond before a decision is made.

  • You may submit a report to contact@firmlocator.com or via the “Report the profile” link on the page itself.
  • Where applicable, we forward the report to the business so that it can respond. By default, we hide your email address from the forwarded copy. If you would like your contact details to be shared with the business, we will do so only with your explicit consent.
  • We aim to review the report and respond within 5 working days. Where the case requires further investigation, we will notify you.
  • Decisions are editorial. We do not automatically take down a profile on the basis of a report. The disputed content is reviewed by a moderator, who assesses the report against the business’s response and the directory rules.
  • Manifestly bad-faith, abusive or out-of-scope reports, for example a commercial dispute between the parties or an attempt to remove a legitimate competitor, may be rejected with a brief explanation.
  • Both the person submitting the report and the business receive a written outcome by email when the review is completed.
  • The report, the business’s response and the editorial decision are kept as an audit trail for the same period as the moderation records. See section 14 and section 8 of the Privacy Policy.

16. “Verified customer” badges

Registered businesses may invite their real clients to confirm that they have worked together. A successful confirmation adds a “confirmed client” entry to the business’s public profile. The badge confirms a working relationship — it is not an assessment, rating or quality guarantee by Firmlocator.

  • The confirming client provides a name and email address and, optionally, a role, company and a short public comment of up to 140 characters. The confirmer’s name, as well as the optional comment, role and company, are shown on the public profile. The confirmer’s email address is not shown publicly.
  • The business may request confirmation by sending an invitation. The confirmer explicitly clicks a confirmation link to record the verification, and may withdraw it at any time via the same link from their email.
  • We reject confirmations from the same domain: if the confirmer’s email is on the same domain as the business’s, the verification is not accepted. This preserves the meaning of the indication and prevents self-confirmation.
  • Only one confirmation is recorded for the “confirmer's email + business” pair. Repeated attempts update the existing record instead of creating a new one.
  • Abuse — for example paid endorsements, endorsements under pressure, or endorsements submitted without the customer's knowledge — is a breach of these Terms and may lead to removal of the badge, restriction of the profile, or termination of the account.

17. AI-generated content

Parts of the profile text, translations into other languages and other supporting content in Firmlocator may be generated or improved with AI tools. You remain responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of any AI-generated content that you choose to publish on your profile. AI assistance does not transfer responsibility for the content to Firmlocator, and AI-generated content is subject to the same prohibited content rules described in sections 3, 5, 13 and 14. Before publication, you must review and confirm every AI-generated text and correct anything that is factually inaccurate, misleading or does not match your business’s actual representation.

When you use an AI-assisted feature or communicate through a process that uses AI, the necessary content may be sent to OpenAI and/or Anthropic, sometimes via the Cloudflare AI Gateway. This may include profile, enquiry or project data, review, email subject and content, sender name and email, and correspondence context. Do not provide unnecessary sensitive, confidential or third-party personal data without a legal basis and permission. AI results may be inaccurate or incomplete and must be reviewed; Firmlocator does not make decisions with significant legal or similar effect solely on the basis of such results.

18. Images and intellectual property

When you upload an image to a profile — for example a logo, gallery photo, banner, etc. — you declare that you own the image or have the necessary licence to use and publish it in Firmlocator. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide right to display, resize, crop, optimise, cache and deliver it via CDN for the purpose of maintaining the directory. If a rights holder sends us a valid copyright infringement report, we apply a notice-and-takedown procedure with the same response period as the reporting process in section 15; the business is given an opportunity to respond before removal. Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing content may be terminated.
