How businesses are shown in Firmlocator
This page explains what Featured, Premium, and Free profiles mean, how visibility affects ordering, and how to evaluate businesses beyond their position.
Standard and Premium: one profile language. Your listing remains discoverable across the catalog; switching the interface language does not translate it.
Featured: translated profiles across all 19 supported language versions, available as translations complete.
Recommended browsing may favor businesses in your country. Search terms, filters and sorting also affect results.
How Firmlocator displays businesses in the directory
Firmlocator uses structured profile information, filters, and public visibility plans to display businesses. Ranking affects visibility, but it is not a rating or a guarantee of quality.
Featured profiles may receive priority visibility in standard directory views and in selected higher-visibility sections.
Premium profiles may receive better visibility than Free profiles and include a richer public presentation.
Free profiles can also appear publicly and receive direct contacts when the profile information is useful and relevant.
In standard directory views, Featured and Premium profiles may receive additional visibility. Search, filters, location, and explicitly selected sorting, such as alphabetical order or latest update, also affect what appears first.
Don’t rely on ranking alone. Compare services, category, location, contact methods, and how complete the profile is before deciding who to contact.
How plans affect visibility
Visibility plans affect how businesses appear in the public parts of the directory, such as the default order and selected visible positions. They do not change the business itself or replace your own judgment about services, relevance, and contact details.
See visibility plansWhat to compare before contacting
Use the profile information to compare businesses directly: category, services, city or address, map, contact methods, and how complete the profile is. Ranking helps with discovery, but it is not proof of quality.

- In the directory
- Data from public registers and the web. No one has confirmed it yet; the profile is available to claim.
- Verified profile
- An owner has confirmed control over an address from the profile and manages it. The data is theirs and has not been verified by us.
- Verified by Firmlocator
- We verified the company’s identity in the registry and its control over the website domain, public phone number, or public email as of the date shown on the badge. Valid for 12 months. It confirms identity and contact channels as of that date — not quality, creditworthiness, or performance.
Why a complete profile matters
More complete profiles are easier to understand and compare because they show services, location, and contact details more clearly. This makes it easier for users to choose, even when visibility plans differ.
