EMS Strategy Group is an independent partner for OEMs and electronics companies seeking the right manufacturing structure, EMS partner and supply chain strategy. We support strategic decisions in electronics manufacturing, including EMS partner selection, production outsourcing, international manufacturing relocation, second sourcing and supply chain resilience.
Our activities cover Europe, Asia and LATAM. We evaluate manufacturing locations, EMS capabilities, production costs, supplier structures and material risks based on objective economic, operational and long-term factors rather than geographic preferences.
Founded by Dirk Kaussen, who has been active in the electronics manufacturing industry since 1986, EMS Strategy Group brings decades of practical manufacturing experience to international projects. We support projects from strategic planning and supplier evaluation through production transfer and the transition to stable serial production. Our work includes TCO analysis, on-site EMS audits, make-or-buy decisions, production footprint evaluation, BOM risk analysis and obsolescence management.
EMS Strategy Group works independently and focuses on the interests of the OEM. The objective is to establish manufacturing and supply chain structures that are economically viable, operationally reliable and resilient over the long term.
